Week 6 - Planning of Animation

I have come up with several different ideas for my 15 second animation. I am either going to make it a short re - enactment of fairytales because I know the story will be able to be portrayed simply and clearly. Using a mind map is very helpful because I can show how my idea is developing.

My personal style when creating pieces of work is that I like to use current affairs in the world to influence my work. One major topic with the current affairs of the world at the moment is The new President of America ; Donald Trump.

I created a mood to put all the images I associate with Donald Trump on there to help influence my animation.

I placed the confederate flag on my mood board because it has just become public knowledge that Donald Trump's top advisor is a Neo nazi - white supremacist. Dollar signs because Donald Trump is a multi millionaire and will probably grow America's economy to be even larger.

After doing some research about Donald Trump , So far I have gathered that he will build a wall in between Mexico and USA borders to stop immigration and a mass amount of drugs trafficked from Mexico. Allegedly the wall will be 55feet tall and will be made from concrete. Trump has commented "impenetrable, physical, tall, powerful, beautiful, southern border wall".

Personally I find it incredibly saddening that a wall has to be put in place to stop immigration and "trafficking" of drugs when people simply want to go to America for a better life.

Donald Trump has said in interviews that 'America is under a radical islamic threat' Thus encouraging islamophobia around the nation, he's also mentioned that he plans to register every Muslim on a database. People were shocked and saddened about what happened to the Jews when Hitler reigned why are people allowing this to happen to Muslims....

To conclude my research about Donald Trump I have decided to make my animation about what Donald Trump will enforce when he becomes the President of the USA
